Netflix launches new interactive shows that let viewers choose in which direction the story goes.
The new interactive format turns its viewers into storytellers, letting them be in charge and
dictate each choice and direction that the story takes.
The first two shows that will be supporting this new format are Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic
Tale and Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile. Puss in Book launches globally today, with Buddy
Thunderstruck slated to make its debut a month from now on July 14.
The new update spring from trying to keep the children more interactive and interested in the content as researchers found that children were already interacting with the screen.
The new storytelling update is Interactive content and is available on many newer devices, including smart TVs, streaming media players, game consoles, and iOS devices running the latest version of the Netflix app. So check that you have the most up to date version, and happy story telling!
