It’s something that we should all do more often, reset our passwords and make it harder for hackers to gain access to our information. If you have a data.gov.uk account, read on as this recent bit of news may affect you.

https://data.gov.uk/ has reported that after a routine security check, they discovered a file that contained user details (names, emails and hashed passwords) was publicity accessible on a third party system.

No misuse of the personal data has been reported but they are advising that anyone who signed up before or on 20th June 2015 reset their password.
