After some discussions with focus groups we decided that tooodle, a play on “things to do” could be mistaken as having two “o”s rather than three, due to a well known search engine’s name with a similar sound that only has two. So we decided we needed a new name, and we wanted to act quickly when the site is relatively new before SEO and publicity gets the old name established.
After considering lots of options, we’ve chosen activibees.com – like the word “activities”, but with a play on words which allows for the strapline “things to do for busy bees”. Our new bee motif provides lots of opportunities for fun brand ideas and design elements. We’ve stayed with largely the same colour scheme, as the fresh pink and teal works brilliantly for the new name.
Activibees is the great new things to do website for the UK, with a unique search for discovering evergreen attractions and events alongside each other, so you don’t need to visit different websites when you’re looking for something to do at the weekend.
