ARC New Energy is a new communication agency who work specifically with new energy providers, particularly in the Middle East. Based in Oxford UK, their history is that they’re wordsmiths who can craft the perfect story to reach your audience. With over 30 years experience of storytelling and a global network of experts, this is an exciting new venture for the founders.

They came to us with their new branding – which included a custom font – and some ideas of colours they liked. We then refined their colour palette and worked with the ideas in their minds eye to animate their logo when you first arrive at the site, always emphasising their strap line – “New Energy. New Stories”. We also worked with the themes of an “arc” and forming connections and links to create various design motifs and watermarks that tied in with their branding for use across the site.

Phase 1 of the website had a hard deadline before founder, Tim Gardom, headed off to an event so we worked quickly to create the designs, build the page and add the finishing touches of micro-interactions and animations before he set off. Using their words, the interactive build guides the reader down the page and through each sentence of meaningfully crafted prose. ARC work primarily within the events space, helping their clients connect with their audience and set themselves apart at large International conferences, and this led the selection of photos used on the site (all the clients’ own) as we tried to keep the imagery as interesting and dynamic as possible.

The site is built on WordPress meaning they can update all the content, and as the site grows to include a team page, work case studies and more – scheduled for later this year – they’ll be able to always keep it fresh and up to date. We’ll also be hosting the site and taking care of it’s maintenance and upgrades going forwards.
